dcrosby Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Its a pity, it seems that Chuck got disenchanted with the DCS user community and took them down :( All of them or Just Mi-8 ?
Tirak Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Its a pity, it seems that Chuck got disenchanted with the DCS user community and took them down :( This is false. Chuck accidentally deleted the public guides, but still has backups. Unfortunately because where he is working, he does not have access to his account to fix the error for a few weeks. Several others have come forward to host the guides until Chuck can get home and fix the mistake.
Chump Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 (edited) Its a pity, it seems that Chuck got disenchanted with the DCS user community and took them down Please do not spread rumors. Chuck will get around to bringing them back online when he is able. There are others that are hosting them in the meantime. Chuck was doing some sorting of his Google Drive ahead of a business trip and accidentally deleted the active folder we can all see that had all the guides. He meant to delete the backups, so he's still got those, unfortunately he won't be back for a few weeks to fix the issue, in the mean time, a few folks have helpfully hosted the old guides until Chuck gets home and fixes it. Here are all the chucks Guides (THANK YOU CHUCK/Charly_Owl) I will leave this link here Until Chuck will renew his links. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4kqOBYxv9yTQW5NV0E2LUdXRms Edited June 7, 2017 by Chump Clarification

kotor633 Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Wow, I had not expected that at all. The Mi-8 is one of my favorite modules and it's nice to see it's not forgotten. Thanks! ************************************** DCS World needs the Panavia Tornado! Really! **************************************
Aviators Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Great! L'importante non è stabilire se uno ha paura o meno, è saper convivere con la propria paura e non farsi condizionare dalla stessa. Ecco, il coraggio è questo, altrimenti non è più coraggio ma incoscienza.
veenee Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 thank you from a new Mi-8 driver! So many modules, so little time... www.mikphotography.com
