Hello,

I have this problem with the 29 and the 27 in FC3 : when using track ir the cockpit view is zoomed in a lot, and no way to zoom back (tried disabling track ir zoom out and enabling it again but no luck sadly)

Anyone ever ecountered this?

PS: no problem with any other modules.

Unfortunately I'm not where I can check but, at least in the Su-27 pit, the zoom is not what you think it is. In the Option menu, it's not the zoom axis (believe it or not) that controls it but another option in the TIR axis menu. I just forget what it's called ATM and can't check.

Hey Bidartarra.

You can adjust the "zero" point of your zoom axis in the Axis Tune menu.

If you want the true zoom view (magnifies exterior objects) assign that as trackir Z.

If you want to move your head in the pit without zooming the outside world or your HUD, assign trackir Z as "absolute longitudinal view shift" or something like that, I forget the exact phrasing.

Either way, you can set your zero point by noodling with the axis tune menu.

Ah very interesting thanks! I will try when I get a chance

I will have to look at this too. I know deadzone and sensitivity can be adjusted but I don't recall adjustment to 0 point or resting state. I could use this as default state for both longitudinal position and tilt for me could use tweaking in some aircraft.

Are you sure this is possible?

Uboats is right :

By default trackir z axis is assigned to axis commands/zoom view.

instead bind it to axis commands/ Abosulte longitude shift camera.

Solved the problem for me.

Hey Windsortheater.

There is not a control directly labeled to set the zero point, but if you futz around with the user curve settings you can manipulate it.

EDIT: I should also add that I'm pretty sure you need to change the control type to "slider" in the user curve menu

I have my zoom axes bound to a slider on my HOTAS, so I don't have a lot of personal experience with trying to do this, but I've seen it done in a youtube video.
