Art-J
I've read the sticky thread, but for users without extensive modding background It only causes more confusion. Simply put, what the hell do we have to do to make the plane "un-holy" while creating just a simple, random fast mission in the editor? :D i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. -Rudel-
There's another work around that will require altering Tac Number textures to put a blank space in place of the 0 or 9 and use either of those as a blank space entry in the mission editor. https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD

For some reason, I thought that the Bort for "Fast missions" is randomly selected. Is this true? I need to try this out when I get home. It might be better to just make my own sight-seeing missions instead of using the "Create Fast Mission" anyway. -Nick

(although that changed for 1.5) At least that's how it is for most modules, again Mig is different as in RL as they paint the numbers in different spots based on the country, so Its also different in game. But If you create a fast mission, which is fine, just be sure to go to the mission planner and change the number based on your skin before you fly. It will take you to a review screen, which has the 'mission planner' option. Once your in there you can mess with load out, fuel, liveries, numbers and such. then hit the red exit button and you'll go back to the review screen, then hit fly. I adjust those parameters with every flight (payload and livery), I just haven't looked for the Bort number. I'll check it out in a few hours when I get home. Art-J
As Wizard said. BTW, the number You're after is called "tail number". Just tested the recipe above and it works flawlessly :). i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. BlackLion213
As Wizard said. BTW, the number You're after is called "tail number". Just tested the recipe above and it works flawlessly :). Excellent, that worked! All is good with the beloved MiG-21. I had to do more editing for the fast missions than I have before, I usually just would "generate a mission" and adjust the livery and payload. I learned something very handy here for future past missions. Thank you for all of the help! -Nick Edited October 3, 2015 by BlackLion213
