As in the attached screenshot.

nVidia GTX 670

nVidia drivers are 355.98

Windows 8.1

In the nVidia control panel I have the antialiasing set to "application controlled"

You beat me to it...I was just going to post. And this is regarding in-cockpit shadows as well.

Is anyone else having the same issue, and if so, how do I fix it?

Try setting the desired value in the Nvidia control panel and not the sim.

My Rig: EVGA GTX 1070 x 2 | EVGA x58 SLI classified | i7 X 990 CPU | 24 GB RAM | Windows 10 Home 64 bit| Track IR Pro | CH Fighter Stick | CH Throttle | CH Pro Pedals |

To better describe the shadows, they appear smooth 90% of the time; however around the weapons master panel switches and a few other spots, including the attitude indicator, the shadows appear jaggie, almost "Flickery" in a sense. It might just be me being picky, because I know shadows won't be perfect.

I used Nvidia Inspector...tried enhanced settings under both "Enhance application settings" and "Override application settings", zero results.

I tried, attached the result. I'm noticing that also other items have a fancy anti-aliasing applied, despite the 16xQ MSAA setting...

I also noticed that 16X AA doesn't do the same job as 8X in 1.2.16
