Sn8ke Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 As in the attached screenshot. nVidia GTX 670 nVidia drivers are 355.98 Windows 8.1 In the nVidia control panel I have the antialiasing set to "application controlled" My DCS settings: You beat me to it...I was just going to post. And this is regarding in-cockpit shadows as well. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
Sn8ke Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Is anyone else having the same issue, and if so, how do I fix it? Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
Azazel Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Try setting the desired value in the Nvidia control panel and not the sim. Sn8ke Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 To better describe the shadows, they appear smooth 90% of the time; however around the weapons master panel switches and a few other spots, including the attitude indicator, the shadows appear jaggie, almost "Flickery" in a sense. It might just be me being picky, because I know shadows won't be perfect. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
Sn8ke Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Try setting the desired value in the Nvidia control panel and not the sim. I used Nvidia Inspector...tried enhanced settings under both "Enhance application settings" and "Override application settings", zero results. zaelu Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I tried, attached the result. I'm noticing that also other items have a fancy anti-aliasing applied, despite the 16xQ MSAA setting... I also noticed that 16X AA doesn't do the same job as 8X in 1.2.16 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
