US 610 Gal. Fuel Tank for F-15C

I haven't been able to put much time towards this project lately - been studying for my checkride! There are a couple of slight adjustments that I want to make to the models and from there, I gotta figure out how to get LockOn to switch between LODs. Thanks for the encouragement and wish me luck!

 

 

create an object such as a sphere, then in lomUtils set the type to lod, add as much lods as you want and set the distance values. Now create some fuel tank LODs, set the LOD id's of your tank parts to id's you specified on your lods object, and link all your tank LODs to the lod object. and center the lod object on your tank.

 

I hope i got this clear enough.

 

BTW you may want to make your tank material "per pixel specular", looks much better than standard.

Any chance of getting these tanks? Tatti still has the shadow bug that Ive tried to fix with the shadow fix.

I got the first release of the tanks, and i didn't get the shadow bug, the second release i did so that's why i went back.

I tried them all and I still got a bad shadow bug with em. Even with a different skin.

So, there was an actual downloadable file of this mod to try out? i've checked the whole thread and can't find anything, so if it does exist could someone please point me to it?

Hmm that mod is by Tatti, i was wondering if there was one released by iViper? Tatti's mods, both the original and Shadowfix versions are still glitchy on my PC http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=18384&page=14 check 2nd post on that page.

Oh, IIRC iViper never released his tanks. He was the first to start making it though, but then i remember Tatti jumped in with his mod so i guess iViper's tanks never made it after that. I think the only fuel tanks released was by tatti.

That's a real shame... I just discovered about this one and was hoping it's downloadable as some already mentioned Tati's have that shadow bug (on my end too) and this one was just perfect...:cry:
