I've been trying to find it as well.

At a guess it's probably in a .GIF type format

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

It is rendered by DCS's sceneAPI using lua.

The scene files are located here:

...DCS World OpenBetaScriptsDemoScenes

Attached is an example 'mainThemeScene.lua' file that adds an F-18 model to the rendered scene.

Make a backup of the original and replace it with this one.

Or is it possible to have a video for created the same theme but with other modules ?

Thanks in advance. Skull

kkkkkkkkkkkkkk dude,

Sorry to post unrelated stuff but it still fits since the issue is also found in this Folder you named

...DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\DemoScenes

tx man you helped me fix something rarely addressed by ED from what i can tell.

Basically i tried to Setup Server with a copy on a dedicated Server machine which seems no Server have gfx built in and that made it hard since 1.5 now has some new Default theme which is animated and lagged the hell out of the game immediatly after i got into DCS main Screen.

So i wanted to run DCS World on our i7 16GB RAM Server which is Hardware wise perfect and after install the whole Thing just kept crashing constantly and wwas totally not responding to clicks and stuff.

Searched for hours and hours but didnt find any solution even if i knew allready what it was.

SO in the end i searched for that 'mainThemeScene.lua' ....and didnt find where it could be since i didnt know where this is located and even how this is programmed by ED.

Tried tons of different resolutions and scalings to the window to Keep the Server on low cpu usage but still even with 300x300 it was unresponsive.

FIX:

After the install of DCS(run as admin) go ahead and follow the wiki and other sources.

http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/Dedicated_Server

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=127230

After all that done in the links when you end up with unresponsive game just go ahead and delete or maybe rename this file:

'mainThemeScene.lua' in the following Folder ...DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\DemoScenes...

So it prevents you from the Need to get ingame and choose different theme which isnt possible since the game doesnt respond at all and so you can do before starting up.

This should give you enough Performance back to run the game and configure it to your desires.
