504 Wolverine
You'll enjoy the TiR and thats for sure, as they say you will never know how you flown without it and its true. TiR4 was my first TiR system and I now find it strange when I forget to enable it. TiR is one of the best purchases you can make for sims. Must be the time for people to treat themselves. I got this MoFo a few days ago. :D It's great being able to spot stuff visually from 30kms out. [/url]

504 Wolverine
ATM I am running @ 1200x692 (after underscan) on 720p with a DVI-HDMI cable from my 6800 U According to the documentation (and control panel) at 1080i setting I can go up to 1920x1080 but when I try the screen seems to flicker slightly (best description I can think of). This is my first LCD/HDTV (read noob, using CRT's like forever) so I don’t know how to remedy this. All new territory for me now so any help will be greatly appreciated. VMFA-Blaze
Ok Its set up... I need a little pratice but, yes this was the missing part of the puzzle, it really does look, and allmost feels like your actually flying .... I enabled helmet targeting and man, its so much easyer to score a kill... (LOL) I might just decide to fly online again... What an awsome device.... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
RedAssAg05
Helmet Targetting?! Man, I need to dig deeper into this game (if I can find the frakking time!) After playing with TIR4, I wondered how I'd gone 3 years without it!
snomhf
I've had my TIR4 for about a month now. Stalled a long time because I just didn't like the idea. Boy was I wrong! It took me about five minutes and it was as if I had used it for a year. Just as natural as can be! I'm an old ww2 prophead dogfighter and let me tell you, dogfighting will never be the same for me again. At the end of a nights session, my thumb used to be blood read from working the hat. VMFA-Blaze
What do u mean with "Helmet Targeting" ??? S! Brati Ok helmet targeting or the helmet mode in Russian Birds is enabled by pressing the 5 key... But since I have a Cougar I've got it mapped to a button on my stick.. This mode is used for close combat or "knife fighting".... So in reality theres a view finder thats located over your right eye... inside of the view finder window there is a thick targeting circle that moves as you move your head.... Its just a matter of placeing that circle over the bandit, locking him up and " FOX ONE " ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
