Exactly. I can't see how a non-flyable plane could somehow be better than a flyable plane without a working radar.

The search for the Nevada fix has taken some time now. There are a raft of aircraft that are flyable now over Nevada. I can wait for the Mig21 fix. To assume the fix can be found and implemented by the time the Nevada map is integrated runs contrary to the evidence to date.

 

If giving up on the working radar without any estimate for repair is the consensus, so be it.

ya no pitch for me, shame wanted to do some dogfighting.

 

just reading the thread now, I thought just pitch wasn't working.... seems like a real PITA. I hope this isn't the future of DCS were an update renders other modules useless if the devs aren't actively fixing problems for years after the release.

update 1 is out and MiG-21 works like a dream :pilotfly:

 

edit: almost perfect, radar still have the crash problem but the cockpit is fully clickable now and can fly this bird

so temoporay fix for the mig21, in a recent patch. mig21 is fully clickable, but enabling the radar crashes the entire game.

If you were active on this one here then you wouldn't jump to such conclusions
