But nothing happens. It can be used for various purposes. http://www.lua.org/pil/23.html SLMOD puts debug to nil, resulting in a mission script not being able to trace-back the call stack when dropping a bug report in dcs.log. Also, it disables all tracing, which is used for debug reasons. Is there an option that you can keep the lua debug object? I've kinda put slmod on the backburner because I was hoping the merge wouldn't have taken as long as it has. Honestly it might be better to rewrite it. Speed wrote it primarily to access scripting functions before the scripting engine was officially a feature with server admin functionality added in at a later date. So it has a lot of stuff that isn't really needed at all. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Thinking on by default keeping it disabled, but possibly through an slmod command activate it, only to be set by the server admin as part of the config file. I also noticed that slmod contains a lot of code that is today available in the scripting engine. And was wondering why all that is there. Its the one branch that is up to date with the GameGUI and current MP related functions. I probably should have merged it into master once 1.2.16 was no longer supported, but I didn't. With 1.5.8 and any future patches that file needs to be in the Scripts/Hooks folder. What do you mean by "reinstall all files from scratch" slmod or complete DCS-Beta? raccoon ReInstall all SLMOD files from scratch in Scripts folder was what I meant, I had to delete the old folder then unpack the fresh SLMOD files from this page https://github.com/mrSkortch/DCS-SLmod/tree/develop (click the green 'clone or download' button on right) and now it works perfectly, my guess is that I overlooked a file or missed something before hence the failure of the program, but since I did this everything works as intended.
