Tried to put this in the Wish List forum but didn't see a start new thread button so...

Currently you cannot easily tell which navigation point you have selected in the MiG-29 because the Navigation panel is not animated. It'd be nice to have, at a minimum, the switch and 3 light buttons animated based on which waypoint is selected.

+1 This would be a must now after the HDD has lost its unrealistic function.

Yes. Now that you've lost that function on the HDD, it's time to mimic the actual aircraft system. There are 3 lights in the top row on the Navigation Panel. You can program a maximum of 6 waypoints into the system. Depending on the position of a switch, those lights represent WP 1-3 or 4-6.

It doesn't matter to me whether you can program the waypoints themselves at some point. It's more important right now that the switch and lights reflect the current selected WP.

I think the same solution used with the Su-25 would be a good compromise for the Mig-29 and relative easy to implement inside a FC concept aircraft.

As the Mig29 will be getting it's PFM soon(ish hopefully?) maybe there is a chance that this could be implemented during that development phase?
