*Rage* Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I was thinking of attending, but as far as i can see the aircraft participation does not include the mig29 (or Su27/30 etc). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
yamangman Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I was thinking of attending, but as far as i can see the aircraft participation does not include the mig29 (or Su27/30 etc). Yea, only the MiG-29 OVT :)

wasserfall Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 You will be in for a surprise!!!, the Mig29 OVT has an unbelievable display. Please capture it on foto or film, because you will not see any display like this from western fighters (yet) Cheers Intel Core i5-9600K, Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 WINDFORCE 8G
Kula66 Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 The weather was great, traffic not too bad (1:30hr queue getting in) and the Mig was truely fantastic - backflips, tail slides - but no flares ... Also flying, the Osprey, F-18E which also flew a great display, and the F-15, F-16, B-52, B-1, Typhoon, C-130 ... Nothing fantastic, but I'll try and post some picts later.
rekoal Posted July 16, 2006 Author Posted July 16, 2006 thanks for the pics, keep them coming! rekoal

diveplane Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 nice looked like great weather for uk lol https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
Andrew_McP Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 nice looked like great weather for uk lol UK weather isn't what it used to be. :-) French champagne growers are buying land in SE England because the climate's changing and the geology & soil's just like the main Champagne region. SE England is also heading for severe water shortages though, so they might want to bring some Evian with them. Great for airshows, but I miss the rain personally. Andrew McP
Andrew_McP Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 The weather was great, traffic not too bad (1:30hr queue getting in) The only time I went by car with a friend it didn't take too long to get in, but it took nearly 3 hours to get away! That was fun. :-) I'd only ever go by train/bus in the future. The buses have a special route which avoids the worst of the traffic. Andrew McP PS Thanks for the pics.
Kula66 Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 The buses have a special route which avoids the worst of the traffic. PS Thanks for the pics. The route we took in kept getting halted to let the buses out! I left silightly early (after the F-15) and drove straight out. Glad you liked them! http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/5062/img4133av4.jpg
yamangman Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Rossi thanks for posting can I ask what kind of camera and lenses you were using? And check here, as ever, for some really nice airshow photos: http://www.ukar.co.uk/cgi-bin/ukarboard/ikonboard.cgi?;act=SF;f=10
112th_Rossi Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I was using a Kyocera M410R (non SLR) with 10x optical zoom. It takes impressive photos for what it is and has a rapid shot function for those fly by moments. Im saving for an SLR and some lenses :D Glad you liked the shots.
Crusty Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 here is some more..hope you dont mind them in the same thread (seems pointless making a new one) The OVT rocked..2 rotations at 0 knots oo err...missus:animals_bunny: ** Anti-Pastie**
