If you do major hardware changes and deactivates your modules, you need to delete the registry keys in windows for all of the modules affected, past discussions and location of reg key files liste below.

Should really do a fresh install of the Operating System - reduces the risk of problems. the Mobo and CPU really are the computer

You put a new MB with the same OS install?

How's that going to work for you? That leaves you with quite a few mismatched drivers.

I just did and it works fine. As long as you go through and check/update drivers it should work fine.

Agreed. Though it is a rare thing for me to do, it is quite doable without major headaches.

I've been having similar issues after a new mobo/cpu/SSD...this should do the trick when I get a chance!

Thank you so much MadDog!

Edit: Just tried using the registry things (and figured out how it works so I could delete the registry keys that don't have a delete thing on the website) and it WORKS! :D

Did you deactivated your module before ? I'm not at home right now and I plan to change almost entirely my computer system (have bought new i5 4690k, mobo, ram and GTX 960). But I did deactivated my modules. Am I good ?

Thanks
