Is my GTX 670 2GB OK for DCS 2.0/NTTR?

It's on the minimum and below the recommended spec, but are there any other GTX 670 users out there running DCS 2.0 Alpha and Nevada? How's it running?

 

Currently with my setup I'm getting very nice FPS in DCS 1.5 at 1080p.

I think you might struggle with anything other than low or, at best, medium settings. I just upgraded from a GTX 680 which was fine for 1.5 but gave me a lot of stuttering in Nevada.

I would highly suggest upgrading to a 700 or 900 series card if you can, like a 770 or 970. Preferably 4gb.

I'm running DCS 1.5.2 and 2.0.1 fairly well with a GTX 670 OC.

 

I use high settings in 1.5 but have to reduce most settings to medium in 2.0.

I am running an AMD FX 6100 CPU, GTX 650ti OC 2GB, 8GB Ram and SSD and am as happy as a pig in slop with NTTR with most graphics nearly maxed out. It gets a little choppy around Vegas but I'm not that interested in sight seeing anyway.

660 Here. No issues yet. 25-30 fps around Nevada. 50-60 when I can't see Nevada. This is with Reshader SweetFX running.

I have 660 card and even my settings on low or medium all give me stuttering especially online, Especially in low level mountain flying, ESPECIALLY when I'm merged. Yeah...I'm planning on a new build with 16gb ram and 980 card.

GTX 960 2GB here and I'm really happy. I had to reduce the terrain textures to the minimum and the visibility to medium. Water is at the minimum because there is not much water in Nevada.

 

If you're interested in the Strait of Hormuz map that is currently in development you should upgrade aswell for Nevada.

Thanks guys. Thinking of going with a GTX 980 so I can go 1440p sometime too.

 

I might try DCS 2 + NTTR anyway with my setup just to try. Is DCS 2 alpha standalone?

You might want to double your memory too mate, minimum requirement is for 8GB, but minimum RECOMMENDED they say is 16GB.
