Can anyone tell me where the practice missions are located? The documentation is in the campaign's doc folder, and I do see mission files there, but I assume those are the campaign (and thus check flight) files.

 

I don't see the individual training/practice missions listed anywhere among my training or individual missions within DCS.

I really hope they make it for the NTTR. Training on the Warthog in the Caucasus kills some of the immersion... ;)

Yes we are planning to port all our A-10C Campaigns to the NTTR map once there is good ATC and the map moves out of Alpha to Beta.

Of course, if the requirement includes good ATC, it may be a very long wait.

Forgive the stupid question, but I'm a noob at all things DCS. I just purchased this Campaign, but how do I DL it. I tried using my Module Mgr, but it's not there.

You need to use DCS World 1.5 (not 2.0) and it should be visible in the Available DLC, Campaigns tab of the module manager.

So I have to downgrade to an earlier version? Why so, and will that affect the modules what I already have?

The BFT campaign is set on the Caucuses map which isn't presently supported in DCS 2.0.

 

At the moment each version supports one map; 1.5 Caucuses, 2.0 Nevada.

Likewise each campaign in set on a specific map, Red Flag for example is in Nevada. So depending which version of DCS you play you are limited to that map and the appropriate campaigns.

 

This will be sorted when 2.0 comes out of beta and both maps and all campaigns will be supported in the one version.

ED does plan to merge 1.5 and 2.0 into a 2.5 then all the maps will be present in one installed version.

 

However we don't know when that will happen.

We do plan on porting all the qualification campaigns to the NTTR map for the aircraft that make sense (A-10A, A-10C, F-15C, F/A-18C, F-14A/B, etc) when we have time.

 

I don't have any release schedule at this point though as we are updating the voice overs with pro recordings.

Actually you could have 3 if you also install the 1.5 Open Beta (Early Access):

1.5 DCS World Open Beta Version

2.0 DCS World Alpha Version
