derfritz Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Is it possible to change the Wingman in the campaign to player controlled? I would love to play these great missions in coop!
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 2, 2016 ED Team Posted April 2, 2016 No, it is a single player campaign Forum rules - DCS Crashing? paulca Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I believe you can open the individual missions in the mission editor and change the AI slots to "Client" or add more flights for clients and host it as a multiplayer.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 2, 2016 ED Team Posted April 2, 2016 no doing so will mess with the mission protection system Forum rules - DCS Crashing? baltic_dragon Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Pity! Please check the poll in one of the threads I plan to release 5 missions chosen by players in MP mode - hope that at least partially will satisfy the need for coop play! Wunderwolf Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 no doing so will mess with the mission protection system Thats is not what we observed. Changing the slots from AI to client in the mission file inside the miz file does not circumvent the protection system. In fact only owner of the UAC campaign are able to join the slots if one of us hosting the modified UAC miz file for example. derfritz Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Interesting. We're you able to play the missions without issues? Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
Wunderwolf Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Interesting. We're you able to play the missions without issues? I dont know if there were absolutely no issues. I dont look into every trigger before we play a mission! (spoilering ... ;-) ) But it looks like it ... We always only changed our own flight/unit, hence most triggers are bound to a flight group ... (Adding more planes to the flight is somewhat tricky though ... ) Twitch : https://www.twitch.tv/wunderwolfx YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQLu0V_6GGqJYiwQf3gvmUw DCZ Discord : https://discord.gg/ytmqYqZ DCZ : https://www.digitalconflictzones.net

flying rabbit Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 It looks like the copyprotection tightened abit. Its no longer possible to add more clients and use the campaigns in multiplayer. Is this really intended? It was not possible to use the missions without buying them before. But now we cannot play them coop anymore. Can ED enlighten us?
baltic_dragon Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Can't comment on that, as I simply don't know the exact rules. As promised before some missions (those indicated by the poll) will be made available in MP, that is the first thing on my to-do list after the M2000C campain (which is almost over).
