Timka01 Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Hello Mig-21 pilots :smartass: I'd been asked too manytimes to make an accurate Iraqi Air Force skin for the LS Mig-21. I've been waiting for LS to release their paintkit and here we go. Not my fav paintkit and I don't know why LS had make it like that you can't use a *Normal brush tool* paint you should navigate between *Multiply* or *Color* to make the job done otherwise if you gonna use *Normal* you will cover the screws etc. That's why it took me lots of time to come up with the accurate colors of that IQAF Mig. Here's some screenshots of the Iraqi Air Force Mig-21 it's an accurate copy of the original one serial #1190 was so active in dogfight during Iraq/Iran war 1980-1988. Put your layer over this layer an you can make the greatest skin texture. Never understood the obsession with representing aircraft as 40+ year old beaten to hell planes instead of factory fresh ones. Sure, any Iraqi MiG-21's that survived the 1991 Gulf War were beat to hell probably, but they were brand new in the early 1980's when going up against Iranian F-5's. Just once in a flight sim, I'd like to see a factory fresh paintjob on something. It's entirely possible I am the only one in the entire FSX/P3D/XPlane/RoF/BoS/DCS community who wants that. But I do want it.:) 1

But I do want it.:) lol you're right you're the only one want that while the most of us want 100% weathered planes cause this is how the real aircraft look like and LS Mig-21 is the most AWESOME weathered module I ever seen (unbelievable work) as a cockpit and exterior. If you're looking for a shiny looking paint I guess you're in the wrong place here you can try training aircraft ;) 1
