Dave317 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I tried to fire a missile from the left seat while flying straight. It seems I can only move the sight when it's in auto hover mode. When I'm flying at speed the stick controls the aircraft and not the sight. What am I doing wrong?
Erk104 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I mapped Slew commands in the key bindings to a four way hat. So if in an Auto Hover you can you use the Main Stick but if you do need to be in forward flight you can use the hat to control the camera. Its not as precise as the stick in an auto hover but it is fairly effective.
grunf Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 You can map the slew commands to axes, if you have some spare. Even during the auto hover I use the mini joystick on my CH throttle to move the camera.
Kayos Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Can't wait till this baby is multi-crewable :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mt5_Roie Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 So when the aircraft is in auto-hover mode, the cyclic stick can act to move the camera. Otherwise, you need to use the slew buttons to move the camera. Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
YoYo Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 You can set up on Your hat: ; , . / to move the camera of Viviane. I use it well. You can use it in the move also. Dave317 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Thanks. I'll map it to the slew control on my warthog next time I have a go.
