Description: from time to time i have autopilot issues on the gazelle, in this case im flying the campaign and its not the first time it happened. i try to go in altitude mode and nothing happens same with speed mode and autohover. Also my trim button on the pilots stick seldomly works... it does nothing when i press it it just sounds good and i let go of the stick and off she goes. maybe thats somehow related.

DCS Version: 1.5.352724

Map: Caucasus

SP/MP: Singleplayer

Reproducible: it happened a couple of times already dont now how to reproduce start up should be fine i done it often now. trim button doesnt do anything for me

Step to Reproduce: autopilot - idk. trim - most of the time

Screenshot/Video available: track is attached

So quick question since I don't use the warthog. Do you assign the keys to it in DCS, or does it have it's own applications that mimics a keyboard command when a button is pressed?

Will review tracks and check it out. But remember that autopilot relies on the gyro to function. So if not aligned nothing will work right. Plus different autopilot modes have different requirements. I'll check the track and see what I can see.

i always use the key assign in dcs - target looks like alot of work

always wait for gyro alignment i would say, cause i use the nadirs wp on all missions.

im aware of the auto pilot mods requirements that need to be met in flight/hover.

thx in advance for taking your time

If you have problems with trim not working you need to go in to options and make sure to TURN OFF FORCE FEED BACK.

also i have seen it not engage if you flip the switch sometimes in strait and level flight.

Trim button. after a bit i think you have to wait and hold it, then let go without movign the stick, if you recentre sharply like in other modules you get a load of pitch oscilation. Its also very hard to tell youve done it sometimes and when fighting the SAS iots even less obvious. Not sure its a problem though.

Yea, on the gazelle, trim takes effect immediately, so if you're trimming in a significantly different position from your previous trim setting, you'll get a jump as the trim takes effect and your joystick is still non-centered.

All other helos ignore cyclic input after trim until cyclic (joystick) has returned to center.

Because of this, the other helos are more-friendly to users using joysticks with centering springs. I'd like to see Polychop fix this, but they may believe it's not a bug. Not sure.

Real choppers doesn't have springs that return the cyclic to the center. So the current modeled method is realistic. But if you'd like us to add a feature, add it to the enhancement thread and we'll look into it.

I think this is actually an option. I have it switched off such that, e.g., the Huey, behaves exactly like the Gazelle, i.e. you have to let go of the cyclic immediately to avoid the spike.

Problem with trimmers on SA342 Gazelle Good time of day, I have a problem with trimmers for rppu in Russian, for some reason it does not work, although the buttons are assigned, I tried nothing through the keyboard either.  And the pedal trim works.  Probyval on autostart and hot start.  I have a warthog joystick.
