No. The Viviane laser is to measure distance, not guide weapons (that would need a different and stronger laser).

Well it's a 1970's scout helicopter. Back then they just called out targets on the radio to the other guys. People have been killing each longer before lasers were around.

I guess if you got good enough you could point the laser in some infantry eyes and cause them eye damage. But not sure that's modeled in ED just yet.

I like to simulate having a routine maintanance accident where the laser goes in my eyes by punching myself in the face.

90% of the accidents in French army as long as we lack of money to make them fly :D

 

5% : HOT on the foot

5% : headache because of too many hours on the simulator
