M2000c drifting left again in instant action take-off mission....and not easily corrected. I see that the wind direction has now been changed in this mission from crosswind into a headwind, Not an issue last week in update 5.

Clean new mission, no wind, no loadout and all is OK. Any kind of load out and it wants to go left.....hope this gets sorted one day.

Thanks Rlaxoxo....

Guys i'm testing the takeoff with ferry configuration (three fuel tanks). Is it possible that could help to pull the cloche during the takeoff, i would say till 130 of speed before put the cloche neutral again. You've to work a bit with pedals, but it seems much more easy in this way.

If i not pull the cloche, Mirage crash out of the runway everytime.

FF2 here.

with the update today rudder/turning authority seems to be less then last beta. it does seem to like to go right and if you let it get out of control it takes you for a ride and useing both brakes to slow causes a drift to the right and a broken plane.

landing and takoffs feel MUCH better, but on a side note of "better" i landed gear up *no horn anymore?* and got to like 130 went full AB and was able to take back off put gear down....nose wheel didnt come down and landed.

may i ask do you use Pedals? and if so what pedals?

I'm trying to takeoff, when starting and applying power plane just turns wildly to the right and off runway. Nothing wrong with the pedals. Weird.

Crosswind. Check your mission settings and report back.

I'm checking out other forums to see if this crosswind exaggerated affect was only happening with the F-15...you're not alone.

No wind, but lol, I loaded full external fuel tanks, and didn't use F2 external view. "Ferry" payload only loaded center and right external tanks, so bug in payload, however when I manually put the tanks to the "Ferry" payload option, it loaded them correctly in plane.

yup, no wind, with full load of missiles and center tank, and it pulls hard to the left, making takeoff's almost impossible

Same just happened to me. But it didn't start doing it until I gave it a bit of left rudder because i was going slightly right. No amount of right rudder fixed it.

I didn't get this behavior myself, just far more rudder sensitivity during takeoff, resulting in me snakeing on the runway on my first attempts before I could adapt.

loadouts tried : usual CAP (Magx2 530x2 central tank), GBU12 support (center tank, GBU12x2, 530x2, Magx2)

Guys can you please try in this way, working only a bit on pedals?

Yes, I had to very far more subtle on the pedals to get it right.

Flying the Gazelle helped tremendously ;)

Landing is the same. As soon as I hit the brakes, it swerves right, with no possibility whatosever of correcting it, even with full rudder. Quite an annoying bug I must say.

Regarding takeoff, I found keeping the NWS on helps tremendously.

NWS only works below 40 knots

I had this problem constantly when I first got the Mirage about 3 weeks ago but I can honestly say I don't get it anymore. I've basically learned how to handle it now simply by reacting immediately the plane deviates. This is the only plane I have to do this with, all other modules behave differently. If it deviates by more than the width of the centre line then I'm doomed and no counter correction will work. As long as I put in frequent minor rudder corrections constantly and effectively pre-empt any deviation I can keep it on the centre line without problem.

In summary - I've adjusted my flying style for this quirk and it's really no longer an issue.
