mytai01 Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 If I go to the setup screen from the GUI screen and change the controls on the M-2000C the screen goes black and stays black as soon as I hit the OK button. The same problem doesn't happen when in game changes are made. Jugdriver Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I am having the same issue. The game is still running but there is a black screen. I dont have the issue with any other module. JD AKA_MattE
Zeus67 Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Folks. I've tried both ways: During a mission and in the DCS screen and I cannot reproduce your problem. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
Azrayen Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 mytai01 & Jugdriver, Did you try to reset your controls? (only temporarily, to see if it "solves" the problem => would help to understand it, which is the first step needed for Razbam to be able to try to fix it). How? Simple: 1/ move your C:\Users\<your_username>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\M-2000C folder to your desktop (that way DCS won't see it, and won't use it). 2/ launch DCS, test again --> problem still there? then it was a false lead. Replace your folder in its original path. And let's keep looking for what causes problem. --> problem solved? then your personal config files are probably outdated/blocking DCS; you can re-do your controls, and why not post your config files so that ED or Razbam can look into them to (perhaps?) find a root cause.
Andryl Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Same problem here. I've tried the following solutions without success: 1- deleting the assignements for hotas 2- exporting the configuration from 2.0.2 (perfectly working) and importing it to 1.5.3 3- Moving the whole M2000 folder from C:\Users\<your_username>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input and manually re-map controls My hotas is a X-55 I had a conflict problem with my controls, so I deleted all the config files from the abovementioned folder and imported new ones from 2.0.2. The procedure worked flawlessly for all my modules (A-10C, Bf-109, Sabre, Hawk, P-51, FC3, Huey) except for the Mirage. ASUS Z170 PRO Gaming || i7x6700K@4.6GHz || Noctua NH-U14S || Corsair16GB DDR4 - 3000MHz || Asus Strix GTX-1080 TI-11GB || TrackIr 5Pro || Saitek x-55 Rhino || Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals || Win10 pro
Destroyer37 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm having the same issue. Black screen after clearing all controls in the M-2000c with the exception of the keyboard commands, and assigning controls. Everything works fine until I hit the OK button. Screens go black and I have to terminate the program. Any help with this would be great! Para_Bellum Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) Same problem here. EDIT: deleting the input file fixed the problem, thanks! Edited June 18, 2016 by Para_Bellum
504smudge Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Tried deleting the M2000 input folder but no joy here Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. https://www.youtube.com/user/504smudge https://www.facebook.com/504smudge
Azrayen Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 smudge, did you try one step further i.e.: - delete personal (as you already did) - delete default (from DCS main directory) - run a repair (so get default ones back) - try again If still same thing, could you be more specific? I.e. which control are you trying to assign? What's your gear and what are your input hardware devices? AFAIK Razbam wasn't able to reproduce the "bug" for now. I can't either. Without reproduction, fix can't be done.
504smudge Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Ok sorted deleted the Input folder in the main directory C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C must have been something in there DCS didn't like.. iborg Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I had the same problem, and the kneepad controls were redded out. Deleting the setup files did the trick as well. Ryzen 3600X - RTX 2080 - 32 GB Ram - DCS on SSD. DCS Modules : M2K-C, F18-C, FW-190D, Huey, Gazelle, Black Shark, Mig-15, all maps.
Hydrox Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 That's DCS problem not Mirage modules and I've had the problem like some 2 years or so, they haven't yet find a solution to it.
tspencer227 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 OK, had the same problem, deleted ALL the input files, things seem to be better now... but my wheel brake commands have disappeared. Button AND axis. Anybody had this happen?
PabstBleuRibbon Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Same problem here. Went to setup menu -> Controls -> Mirage 2000, adjusted Axis, clicked OK, then black screen. Every time.
