tflash
The Typhoon must be a real delight. I stilll have a copy of Rage software's "Eurofighter Typhoon: Operation Icebraker" based on DID technology. Can you imagine flying with that kind of avionics? Beats having Tom-Tom in your car! Guest IguanaKing
Are those pics of the real MFD screens, or are they for a sim? Heh...sorry for the question, but I'm afraid I can't read German. :D

Shaman
1024x1024, that's some really nice resolution for this MFD. Even screen of that MFD in real is much bigger then the images provided on that page. I'd like to see full scale resolution images now. cool_t
EF2000 DID did a great job with EF2000. I would love to get close to one of them or talk to a pilot.
Guest IguanaKing
Check this brochure out. I did a magnetometer calibration on one of these systems yesterday. Its a pretty slick system. Air data, AHARS, NAV, GPS, weather, terrain, approach charts, radar, traffic avoidance, engine monitoring, fuel management...and the list goes on, all laid out nicely on two color displays. The jury is still out on its reliability, but it seems to be doing well so far. http://www.avidyne.com/techpubs2/Entegra_Brochure_Nov05.pdf
cool_t
Wow! Wow real time weather systems. Ven
DID did a great job with EF2000. I would love to get close to one of them or talk to a pilot. I also did enjoy playing EF2000 but wasn't it basically a fictional sim? Because at the time (don't even remember what year EF2K was released) Typhoon was still very very early in development that all avionics and weapon system were based on... I don't even know what it was based on actually but it couldn't have been the actual EF2000. I haven't followed up on current Typhoon's specs and performances but at least in that sim, I thought it was way overpowered.
