Sporg Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 X36? I loved mine, too. I'm sure it still works, but you had to use some 3rd party drivers for newer windows. Yep, x36. The rubber on mine turned sticky, so had to throw it out eventually. Didn't know about the newer drivers either. Sokol1_br Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I don't remember the TM F16 FLCS being all that bad really... I have there a Tm F22PRO, their gimbal is in metal - that don't looks poor like the Cougar metal - but the thing has dammed heavy springs and a lot of play... not usable with Ka-50 for example. :joystick: Have too CH F-16 Fighterstick, their gimbal feel more better than F22PRO, but is too light and "clunck", has some play around center. Use more a Tm T.1600M as "desktop casual stick". :D
hansangb Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 It just occurred to me that I have every flavor of TM stick. The original TM Topgun (?) joystick, the F16, the F22, the Cougar, and the Warthog. Were was it generic joystick first, followed by TopGun one? Been so long I can't even remember. LOL. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1

Yeah IIRC the F22 Pro was when TM started to go with the much stiffer springs. The F-16 FLCS had fairly soft springs. Not sure why they thought then and continue to think, folks want the heavy spring resistance. I solved it in my Cougar by replacing the gimbal with Ian's NXT gimbal. With the Warthog, well I added an extension which certainly helps. Dudikoff Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 (edited) The rubber on mine turned sticky, so had to throw it out eventually. Mine's still good. Sounds like a bad reaction to some cleaning agent as I had on some keyboard's soft rubber palm rest. His grip is good candidate for use in VKB bases as use CD4021 Shift Register inside, and don't have the inconvenient of Warthog grip: weight /inertia. :joystick: Edited July 27, 2016 by Sokol1_br
