I would like to know how these two DLC campaigns compare and differ ? Do they differ in difficulty level ? Which one would be best to get first ?

I did finish TEW and am on mission 4 of PF. So far I like Piercing Fury better. But you can't go wrong with either of them.

Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.

I completed TEW, you can read my review here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=165259 I still have to start PF (waiting for the next update), so can't really help you in that regards.

What I can say is that they probably differ in regards of type of missions flown, since TEW is mostly COIN operations, while PF seems more akin to large scale engagements and CAS.

What is meant by a 'COIN' operation ?

COunter INsurgency. Basically low intensity fighting with a lot of soft targets, akin to the A-10Cs missions in Afghanistan for example.

The red flag missions for DCSW 2.0 was a lot of fun - but it does require you have 2.0 of course!

That's like asking guys the flavor of their favorite ice cream. Both campaigns are excellent and of the highest quality. They are of different styles, but that's a positive. Variety is good. You really need both. You can't go wrong with either....but trust me....both is better.

Pre-release versions of Mission 1 and 2 from OPF are available here to test.

I've only checked my fps at the start of the 1st mission before going back to some basic training (to get up to speed) but it was was enough to make OPF a day one purchase when it eventually comes to Steam.
