Stickshaker Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Hello Pato, The images of your cockpit look very nice and I would like to install your mod, but nowhere in my DCS 1.5 install I can find a ‘JSGME mod folder’ or a JSGME manager. Am I overlooking something? Thank you, Stickshaker
razo+r Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 JSGME is like a programm, which you do not have installed normally, you need to download it otherwise you can install the mod without JSGME
Stickshaker Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Thanks, Razo+R! I downloaded JGSME, but do not yet feel confident with the program. Can you tell me how to install the cockpit without JGSME? Do I just need to put it in a folder? And is JSGME a generic program? I downloaded it from a game site not specifically for DCS. Thanks and best regards, Stickshaker
razo+r Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 just follow the folder structure from the mod in your dcs install and replace those files or open the dcs world installation directory and drag the "coremods" and "mods" folder in the dcs installation directy and press replace all if it pops up
jvanhoog Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 @Stickshaker, Best to take a look at EB'S ultimate JGSME guide in the mods section, it will tell you how.
cichlidfan Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 JSGME is complete generic. You can use it to modify any folder on your computer, regardless what the content is. As jvanhoog said, follow these instructions and use JSGME. It is the best way to install mods and not screw up your game. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1622052&postcount=1 ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Kev2go Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 nice work, but i actually prefer the original cockpit with the greyish finish. i think it contrasts the dark/blackish instruments displays nicely.
