F-15E Flyable mod for DCS 2.0

Hi all

 

I have a grafic problem with the F-15E Flyable mod for DCS 2.0 see pictures:

F-4E work fine.

 

What is wrong?

it's expecting a texture that it cannot find.

 

check dcs.log in your saved games folder.

make sure textures are DDS format,seems like its missing texture.

"Note"

Use model Viewer to see the cockpit and look for the textures name and then go into the mod folder and see if the named textures there,if its not then your missing texture.

is emty, maybe the mod is broken

you're in the wrong folder, shape folder is the 3d model

go in a texture folder

No, to see if there are even any textures present

This Mod is old and has not been updated to work w/ 1.5.x Standards.

 

The Cockpit textures are low res and subpar and likely ripped from another simulator.

there are textures in the "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\F-15E\Cockpit\Textures" folder

 

but there are png`s not dds

maybe this is the error.

The version it downloaded when I downloaded to check, has them in:

"Mods\aircraft\F-15E\Textures\F-15E-CPT-TEXTURES.zip"

Try this trick highlight the download file with mouse then right click and select "Unblock".

 

I find that does the trick 90% of the time with all my downloads as MS Windows Blocks downloads for security reasons.

 

I have had corrupt or missing files due to MS Windows Blocking files as I click to install and get error messages then I go back do this step all works fine.
