susuwatari Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Is there any on-going work to add new missions or campaigns to Mi-8? I have just bought the module and don't get me wrong, it is nice, but to be honest i was expecting a bit more sp content than this. I know there are some user-made ones on ED site but still...
ricktoberfest Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Did you already go through the campaign? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
susuwatari Posted November 25, 2016 Author Posted November 25, 2016 Did you already go through the campaign? No. How many missions does it involve? In the Missions tab i see only 3 missions. I thought there were more.
ricktoberfest Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 New missions? The 3 missions are the first 3 of the campaign. The campaign is excellent and is a good way to learn the chopper. There is a forum section for it if you get lost. I don't know he many missions but I think it was 14 or so (guessing) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Then after Release DCS: Mi-8MTV2 (in early December 2016), new campaign "The Border" will be offered (3th party devs). And another one campaign is in development (3th party devs). The storyline - perform Sling-load missions. It could be ready after 2-3 months.

1.JaVA_Platypus Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 The stock campaign is reall good. But it was made before we had the sling-load option. And probably they'll add something to do for the side-gunners in any of the new campaigns as well. Happy Flying! :pilotfly:

bolek Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 I can highly recommend the free "Bay of Hogs" campaign from user files. Never thought I would have so much fun in combat in an "unarmed" helicopter (no spoilers here :)).
