frodrigues2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Hi......i would like to know if future bombers like the B-17 Flying Fortress would have all its gunners in multiplayer play.......like the UH-1H Huey gunner........since we are waiting for the WWII Map. PicksKing Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 I wouldnt expect that soon. It would require a B17-module, which would be very complicated. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Gainward RTX 2080 OC | i7 8700K OC | 32GB G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4 3600 MHz | MSI Z370-A PRO | Samsung 970 EVO 500GB

So....ask for a product business plan on some companies....and ask for help on Nato military maybe they are interested in training bomber pilots. BFBunny Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 (edited) B-17 model, basic AI would be good to have though just so we can shoot it down, but an actual flying B-17 bomber would be an insane amount of work to get it to DCS level. I could imagine an FC3 level would be plausable, but then why bother because I doubt many people would want 'dumbed down' modules diluting the current high quality. Better to not have it than have it half done possibly. I woudn't say never, but would it really sell in 3 years when everyone has got bored of waiting and gone on to other things. Pikey Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 MP coop single plane is still being tweaked and there are lots of things in MP that rely on sychronisation, just note all the times you put gear up/down, lights on off and so on that doesnt work properly still (5 mins of my life last night trying to sync taxi/landing and off for the Mirage in MP). Before embarking on a project, you test it for feasibility...can 11 people run around a plane in various stations and do things well yet? The answer to the feasibility issue is... no, not at least that we have seen, although, perhaps its on the cards when things improve. That puts the start of this project out and as we know modules take years. It's not a matter of if ED want to, its a matter of when, I'm quite sure they realise a B17G woudl blow minds and sell millions. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
