Asset Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Hi all, for some more authenticity I would like to use real aviation charts. And since I am old school (:book:) I like to have real paper charts. Does anyone know a website where I can order printed charts of said regions in Europe? I found an American website for the Las Vegas FAA regional but shipping to Europe makes this completely unrealistic.

Asset Posted January 6, 2017 Author Posted January 6, 2017 Thank you Ghostraider, but all these stores only offer european maps. I would want one Las vegas regional FAA map and an Caucasus equivalent.
Sabre-TLA Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 What about this: http://www.skysectionals.com/ Sorry I see you want a European based company. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
gospadin Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 http://www.sportys.com/ http://www.mypilotstore.com/mypilotstore/ The sectionals are about $8-9 each, and shipping will probably be $15-20 to various European countries. If you're gonna get a sectional, you might as well get the Las Vegas TAC as well, and maybe the SouthWest Chart Supplement AFDSW. That may be more than you want to pay, hard to say since you didn't define what unreasonable meant. --gos PS: Chart Supplements can be downloaded from the FAA as .pdf files too, so only buy one if you want a paper book. Backy 51 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Perhaps you could take a PDF chart to an office supply store and print off a plotter ... I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
gospadin Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Perhaps you could take a PDF chart to an office supply store and print off a plotter ... Unfortunately, that'll likely be way more expensive than ordering one already printed. escaner Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Look for a shop in the USA that sends by USPS First-Class Mail International or ask them to do so. It takes 2-3 weeks, but it is way cheaper than any other method. I have purchased there several times with that one, including charts years ago. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Asset Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Thanks for all the advice. Stupid me could have just sent the maps to a friend who just came back from the States for Christmas holidays...
