m1tp2king Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 hi. at the moment I am playing DCS black shark 2. but I soon want to start playing Flaming cliffs 3 or SU27. if I download multiple modules will it make my games crash ? I ask this , because before I was playing Black shark 1 (from DVD) and i then installed flaming cliffs 2 and my games all started to crash whilst playing. I use STEAM to download my games. anyone using multiple modules and experiencing problems ? thanks.
cichlidfan Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 You are not playing multiple modules. BS1 and FC2 are completely separate, standalone, games. Btw, Steam does not sell Flaming Cliffs 2. m1tp2king Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 In the past I played BS1 and FC 2. Now I have a new computer and I wish to download many DCS modules. FC3 combined arms, euro fighter. So please can someone tell me if it's OK to download many DCS modules. (From STEAM). Many thanks.
razo+r Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 I have nearly all modules, though not from steam but i have no problems what so ever

I have almost all of them and my PC runs DCS with ease and no crashes. May I suggest than instead of purchasing at Steam, you better create an account here (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/) because Eagle Dynamics uses to have fairly frequent sales where you can purchase modules at considerable discount, while Steam only has 3 or 4 sales a year. For example, until today you can get the soviet aircrafts at 50% off on ED's store, so the Su-27 goes for US$ 5 rather than the usual 10 :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

I do however go directly through ED , as I don't care much for Steam. You should be fine either way though.
