gladio76
I purchased for 50 € a map without missions and campaign?
cichlidfan
Correct. Missions and campaigns would require you to own a specific aircraft so it would be impractical to include either with a map. Yurgon
There are actually some included missions for some of the modules, just like there are already payware campaigns, and more are in the works. But yeah, basically the NTTR map is a giant sandbox for you to play in. I think there's going to be lots of content eventually, but so far it's no surprise that the majority of content is available for the Caucasus map because, a) it's been available so much longer, b) NTTR is still under development, c) NTTR is payware, thus payware authors must weigh their target audience against those who are likely to have purchased this map. Plus many pilots and mission designers think that NTTR is best used for training scenarios. A clash West vs. East aka "real combat" just looks so much more plausible in the Caucasus region. On a side note, expectations are a funny thing. I didn't expect too much from this map and it keeps surprising and entertaining me in many ways, I love it! ;) Edited February 27, 2017 by Yurgon

I believe the OP is questioning the fact that the map cost 50 and does not include any missions or campaigns. At least that is how I interpreted the post. Captain Orso
As far as I know, NTTR is still in Alpha status. The e-shop page for NTTR says, "For those that pre-purchase prior to October 1st, 2015, you will receive a 20% discount and two free Red Flag campaigns (one for the F-15C and one for the A-10C). For those that pre-purchase between October 1st and the Open Alpha release in late November, you will receive a 20% discount and one free Red Flag campaign. Both of these options also include a 20% bonus savings on future purchases at full price." There's no information noted on the page about when, the campaigns will be available, but I don't imagine before the map is GA (Generally Available; in other words released). The map isn't even Beta yes, so you will have to be patient a bit longer. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. cichlidfan
Does 2.0 work online? Sure, as long as the server is running the same version. Yurgon
I believe the OP is questioning the fact that the map cost 50 and does not include any missions or campaigns. At least that is how I interpreted the post. You mean he thinks the map itself should include missions and campaigns? Okay, that would be a pretty big misunderstanding on his part. I think he understands that missions and campaigns are specific to modules aka aircraft, and that all missions and campaigns are also specific to a theater, but maybe this is really what the topic is all about, though I'm still not sure. There's no information noted on the page about when, the campaigns will be available, [...] Whaddaya mean? Both Red Flag campaigns for A-10C and F-15C are already available. I expected that installing dcs 2.x.x i should found a campaign and some mission for every module like in 1.5. Well, those missions that are available in 1.5 will NOT work in 2.0. Like I said before, there are some new missions and campaigns available in 2.0, but of course not as many as in 1.5. The map is still in Alpha, give it some time. Basically, you agreed to Alpha test this map, don't expect too much from it until it gets to release status.
Captain Orso
8< Whaddaya mean? Both Red Flag campaigns for A-10C and F-15C are already available. I know.
