Strider32 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Ever since I updated to 1.5.6, I get this stupid message every time I try to start up the game. "Cockpit_P51Common has been modified. It is either damaged or infected by a virus. Please run antivirus and reinstall the application." Something along those lines. I have never even touched that file. I ran my antivirus and it showed no results and have deleted the file and ran a full DCS repair and it replaced the file but I keep getting the message. I can deactivate the module and play without the Mustang, but I love to fly it. Hope you guys can help. Strider32 Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 Cockpit mods for the mustang were never installed on my system. I even had a check just to be sure I wasn't forgetting. Art-J Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Only two things left to try then: a) temporarily removing the Saved Games\DCS\ folder from the C: drive, allowing the game to reset all settings and checking out if it that helped; b) deactivating and uninstalling the module, then reinstalling and activating it from scratch. Just a couple of minutes work and no license key lost anyway. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Strider32 Posted April 17, 2017 Author Posted April 17, 2017 This is complete BS, I did both things that Art-j said above but I still get the same warning even though the file is a completely new one. Johnc150x Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Any further forward with this? I'm getting the same error :(
SkateZilla Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 please Zip and Attach /Saved Games/DCS.install/Logs/ Folder. As well as /DCSWorld/autoupdate_Log and autoupdatelog.old files. Sounds like the Binaries are not being updated properly. also, right click the file /DCS World/Mods/Aircraft/P-51D/bin/ and goto details, and post a screenshot of that menu page.
