I just got a 1080Ti and now I can't run 1.5 or 2.0 in fullscreen with VR (Steam/Vive).

Normally I just ran the game, and got the vertical window on my monitor. When the menu came up I pressed alt-enter to go fullscreen. This meant all mouse clicks, especially ones right at the bottom of the screen didn't leave the window.

Alt-enter does nothing now, and it's broken the game for me.

I can click on menu items, but if I go to multiplayer for example, when I click on a server I cannot click on the Join button down the bottom. Moving the mouse down that far puts it on my taskbar in Windows. I can double click the server row to join, but then I get stuck at the aircraft slot screen. I choose a plane, but double clicking it doesn't work.

I can't click the briefing button to join the game!!! If I try, I leave the window and click on the taskbar.

Any ideas?

Hmm, problem solved. Apparently a fourth reboot and now alt-enter works again...

Sorry to waste your time, but thanks for the suggestion!

Yup I had to relocate the windows taskbar as well in order to be able to click DCS menu items...

I can get the game to go full screen in VR, but everything is stretched out like and looks like crap. I want to be able to livestream my DCS play, but I have the choice of a screen that is a third of the screen size or stretched out like taffy. Why? Why, I ask.

Because the monitor is basically a mirror of what is in your HMD

Maybe try alt+enter on the windowed screen. Or alternatively (on a Game to Game basis) you can get a full screen image by using the Oculus Mirror Tool if the game doesn't support it natively. Apparently it has awful black banding on the sides so using the games build in would be ideal anyways...

With vr game only opens half of screen

We purchased the oculus glasses last week. Loaded them into the computer, now the game only opens half screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs to no avail. Any help would greatly appreciated.

On the monitor ? That is normal when launching in VR mode . Are you trying to launch in monitor mode ? Try unplugging the Rift .

The way i do it is to leave the Rift plugged in at all times . I use the "VR on" button in the aformentioned utility to launch DCS (the utility may be closed as soon as you see the "logging in" window) Then I open the Oculus app . It should launch automatically when you put the headset on .

You can use the "VR off" button in the utility to launch DCS in monitor mode even with the Rift plugged in .
