Hey Gents,

 

I spent the last 15 hours searching the net and finding and converting 9 more skins for the F-16A and C variants to Hi-Res 2048X2048. These skins are beautiful representations of the 80's and 90's F-16. Please install these in your Bazar/Liveries folder for the F-16A and C. I did add updated tail markings to all of the aircraft and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did updating them...I love this little aircraft.

 

P.S. Thanks to all of the skinners out there who take the time to make this art. I enjoy painting them as much as I do updating them. Salute!

 

Note: These should work for 2.0 as well, They are DDS.

For anyone who is using my skin packs for the A versions. If you getting double sets of numbers on the tail for the AI aircraft and want to stop that from happening.

 

1st make sure you have an empty tga file in your temptextures folder.

2nd place these 2 lines in your description lau files...for each skin. It seems to be working for me so it should be good to go. Salute!

 

{"texture tactnumbers-usaf-black.tga f2 g0", 0, "empty", true};

{"texture tactnumbers-usaf-darkgray.tga f2 g0", 0, "empty", true};

Guys I'm making another skin pack for the F-16 A and C version. Once its done I'm going to add all of the skins I made into one MEGA pack and post them for download on the main site. I will include a complete install readme for 1.5 and 2.0 versions.

 

I just want to give all the players an opportunity to have the most choices to use the best all around fighter in the world in the missions they fly and make for the community.

 

These skins are for the AI as well as the mod for the F-16A and C. Sierra I haven't forgot about ya buddy. I'm still making sure that I solve the double numbers issue first before I complete those for ya. The help from Charlie 01 I'm getting this issue fixed.

Brother you are going WAY above and beyond what I was expecting. Id be happy with a few more paint schemes! However, I sincerely admire your attention to detail and respect your comment about only flying with custom skins.

 

I need to get a hold of a person who lives near me that does liveries and have him walk me through using Photoshop to do what you guys are doing.

Only 2 liveries left and You'll have a skin pack with 70 skins to choose from. Ill release this on Friday 16th....

 

Can't wait for an all-in-one pack to give The Electric Jet aka Lawn Dart it's due! Besides, the sooner you finish the sooner you can start knocking out Phantom masterpieces! ;-)
