That didn't work good... Lousy server for me, I checked towards Malmö, Sweden and got.

download: 21321kbps

Upload 2693kbps

And at the end of the day, the results are far from what I can prove from just downloading files. So I wouldn't say that it's a good test tool if you live in Sweden and got a connection higher than 8Mbit/s. It said the recomended server was in Russia for me, and it capped out at 4700kbps.

Downloading several files at the same time: 8.9Mbyte/s

Uploading maxxed out at 1.13Mbyte/s

Anyway I get off cheaply with light subscription with Belgacom (about € 29/Month)

For lockon it covers lockon settings which requires 128/128 speed setting (not for hosting of course).

I wonder how much you guys pay for your monthly connection.

Mine's quite cheap. Good connections aren't very expensive in Sweden.

100Mbit/s(download) with 10Mbit/s(upload) is around 320SEK/Month, that brings it to EUR: 34.63 each month.

What a crappy site that is, way too slow to measure my connection (I get 12.8 MB/sec in DC), oh well, here it is, not my real speed, but eh, it's just a spyware ridden crappy flash site.

These speed test sites are all pretty inconsistent, I wouldn't get too concerned about your numbers, Hitman. On SpeedTest.net I get about 1700kbps, on Cnet I get 284kbps, yet when I download a file from USAFMTL's site, my transfer rate is over 10000kbps. So, the speed test is only as good as the server you are connecting to. :)

Sorry 2 bring back an old thread but i really do want to receive an answer to my question

I need to know the name of an ISP that provides cheap internet with a very large amount of downloads (10gb+), preferably unlimited, with about a 3mb download speed for relatively cheap.

Names please??

Cheers
