probad Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 not scary, anyone dedicated enough to put up with flying an e-2 will be in a private mp squad or they'll relegate themselves to offline play. a shame really

lunaticfringe Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Have to make damn well certain there's a proper AAR platform functioning correctly for the E-2C, F-14, and F/A-18 before such a thing would be viable to begin with. Wouldn't be a bad job for noobs or the home-nagged who can't grasp the finer aspects of air combat- all they'd really need to do is mechanically learn landings and filling the tanks...
asla36 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 *sits back, grabs popcorn* DCS: MiG-23 [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC] Make it happen, and take my money! :D
swither Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 hm, we haven't really planned anything but i like the idea. Adding something to the score screen would be dependent on ED, but we might be able to add something to the kneeboard for instance. Not promising anything though... 1 /Daniel Heatblur Simulations

Dino Might Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I'm wondering if some enterprising individual can come up with a program similar to VLSO for DCS, maybe done in a similar fashion to or as part of TacView.
TonyG Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Yes, vLSO would be a great addition to DCS, its a great little program for FSX. Really helps you focus on flying a solid approach. 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit
