JCK
I can't quite get to grips why ED fail to utilise PR to their advantage..... ...It's a powerful tool...keep people informed etc etc... Users "expect" (as offered) a weekly update. Okay, there's big convergence occurring currently, but excluding the membership from the the issues is a big PR fail in my view. I operate a 'non-digital' medium sized business, and if I fail to communicate why 'things' aren't happening, the consequences of that, within dozens, notwithstanding thousands of participants, doesn't bear thinking about ............ 2 i7-4790, 16GB DDR3, 6GB EVGA GTX1060 SC, Oculus CV1, Track IR 5, BenQ XL2720X, TM Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswind, Microsoft Windows® 8.1 -
The Black Swan
Wut? We get weekly updates, almost weekly videos, and quite regular posts from devs. They also have dedicated guys for making awesome traliers for new modules.... how are they not taking advantage of PR? We just recently had Wags do Q&A on a live stream. GeForce GTX 970, i5 4690K 3.5 GHz, 8 GB ram, Win 10, 1080p

QuiGon
Now that's a strange thread. You demand something that's been around for years now? Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! WinterH
If only we had someone with lots of time and to total lack of lazyness (or sense), so they could compile all the threads that pop up with saying the same things over and over again. I am getting the impression that, you sir, have neither managed, nor developed a software project, right? I am among the last to defend the sim or the developer in current status quo of things being in a more or less perpetual beta, but still, I don't see what you've asked happening, and I wouldn't do so if I was in their shoes either. Will leave it at that :). StandingCow
You shouldn't "expect" anything... the updates are generally scheduled once a week but that isn't a guarantee. As others have pointed out software development is far from something you can ever guarantee, there are bugs and delays, etc. 5900X - 32 GB 3600 RAM - 1080TI My Twitch Channel ~Moo
