At first we played on Open Beta and before the last update it worked fine, after the update ..not so much. We deleted our beta client and installed the Release version .. same problem but i see that the same patch is on release too. Fix this pls?:helpsmilie: PS we all passed the integrity check, we have no mods installed on our release version. Edited August 24, 2017 by predattak

Johnny_Rico Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) Obviously yes. Sorry I didn't see you put that in your first post http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ You could try that online tool see if it points to anything ? I couldnt see why it wouldnt work, if it was a common game bug you would think more people would be complaining Edited August 27, 2017 by Johnny_Rico METAR weather for DCS World missions Guide to help out new DCS MOOSE Users -> HERE Havoc Company Dedicated server info Connect IP: 94.23.215.203 SRS enabled - freqs - Main = 243, A2A = 244, A2G = 245 Please contact me HERE if you have any server feedback or METAR issues/requests

Now after long hours .. i found out that if my current ip starts with number 7 , the server works fine and ppl can connect to me via direct IP. If my ip starts with ANY other number , Server Offline error. so .. now i have to restart my pc or my network connection until i get an ip with the first number 7 in order to fly with my friends... Plus this only works on private and not public servers. If you make your server public ... Server offline error again. Again, the problem is not from me , one day before the last update everything worked ok, i have not changed any settings or anything .. i didn't even installed or uninstalled any programs. So long story short .. F******************** ... hope they fix this.

What exact way is your pc connected to the internet (are you using modem / router combined) or just a modem ? Most routers have a config so you can set an IP against a MAC address (static table) So my PC will always have the same IP everytime I switch it one, because I added a static entry METAR weather for DCS World missions Guide to help out new DCS MOOSE Users -> HERE Havoc Company Dedicated server info Connect IP: 94.23.215.203 SRS enabled - freqs - Main = 243, A2A = 244, A2G = 245 Please contact me HERE if you have any server feedback or METAR issues/requests

Thanks mate, I will look at this tonight to see if the firmwear nets updating. . . My issue "just popped up too", so here's hoping. Incidentally (for others reading and contributing to this thread), the devices on my network all have dynamic IPs too, so I need to recheck the IP of my PC is correct for my port forwarding almost every time I host. However, even when I get the IP address correct to the device, the issue I have persists. On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/philstylenz Storm of War WW2 server website: https://stormofwar.net/

Strong05 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Not sure if it's related but as of the latest update I only see about 6 servers. I usually see a whole heck of a lot more then that. Could be an ISP problem though as I also just moved... Figured I'd start here though. I'll also double check my router but I have a static IP in the DMZ so that shouldn't be a problem. 5800X3d, 32GB DDR4@3400, 6800 xt, Reverb G2, Gunfighter/TMWH
philstyle Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 (edited) Nearly half my squadron is now reporting an inability to host in either DCS 1 or 2. Strong05 Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Just verified everything tonight. All my router settings are correct and updated firmware. Looks like I most have the new ipv6 protocol as I was able to connect via IP address to a server that didn't show up in the search results. predattak Posted September 9, 2017 Author Posted September 9, 2017 (edited) We tried it last night and still nothing after the update (but to be fair i didn't expect anything , the patch notes didn't reveal any work on the problem) PS: In the last days some interesting things happened and i had to format and reinstall everything on my PC. I now have a clean fully updated windows 7 version and a clean DCS install. I have all the ports opened and all those things, my internet provider didn't change any settings on me so .. it's DCS, i'm almost 100% sure. Edited September 9, 2017 by predattak
Coug4r Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Maybe you can try hosting tacview on 10308 and see if others can connect. If they can't the problem is something at your side locally, if they can then at least you know the TCP protocol works. - If man were meant to fly he'd be filled with helium.

The 10308 port works perfectly fine, i edited my vanilla WoW server to use only this port and people can connect to it no problem.:)
