I've heard to set Nvidia anti-aliasing settings to override DCS settings, and turn the DCS settings off, but this doesn't seem to work for me. Neither enhance nor override will work, and I'm forced to use the DCS settings. This happens when I set Nvidia's global settings and when I try the settings for just DCS in the programs list. Does the Nvidia control panel just not play nicely with DCS?

Yes, that's our limitation now. Out of nVidia AA settings, only FXAA works for sure (but it's a very simplified and poor quality method), also some say they can see FMAA working a little bit (whether they actually do, or it's a placebo - try it out and decide).

It worked for me. AT least I set up all the settings to max tried it with both 2.1 and 1.5 with great results in both fps and visuals. This is with the rift. I then installed the latest Nvidia driver and fps took a nose dive. Reverting the settings to default in Nvidia CP brought my FPS back to acceptable levels. I need to investigate further though :)
