extremely bright cockpit in 2.1 alpha

I've been away from dcs for a while and recently updated to the latest alpha build. When I load the instant action free flight on nttr the whole cockpit seems to be lit by the sun or some other extremely bright light source that isn't affected by shadows or moving the aircraft. It makes the instrument panel unusable. Is this a known issue or is something wrong with my game/settings?

Sure they have an effect. At least they should. Below you've got default gamma 2.1 (or whatever it is) compared to gamma 1.0.

I would laugh at you but it took me a solid month to find that switch lol.....

Back of the overhead panel, copilot's side, white/off/green selector for the overhead light.

Nah, it's "just" 2.1 Deferrd Shading at its worst :D. After it was implemented all cocpkit lights in the game went bonkers one way or the other. Just turn them off and forget about using them until they're tweaked some day, hopefully.
