Does anybody here has the "Scan distance 400" command not working in the F14 ? Jester receive the command but does not change the display settings. (the others scan distances, 50,100,200 are working well).

yip Jester also ignores me when using this via AIRIO.

Hello there ! I tried it today and loved it (except for the manual radio settings part, that is a nightmare for a french :D ).

 

I have some troubles with the RIO not doing anything when I ask him for scan range 400 too, he says OK but do not change the radar settings. Am I the only one ? Should I change something ?

I wonder if the AI is hung up because the AN/AWG-9 only scans out to 200, but the TID can go to 400?

Overall, I have to say that Vaicom pro is a fantastic piece of software! I have been using it for quite some time and for the most part it works just as it is advertised, allowing much better integration especially in VR.

 

However, I've been having an issue with the AIRIO plugin and the manual radio tuning feature. Has anyone been able to make this function correctly? I can occasionally get the manual Tacan tune or the Link Tune features to work but the Radio Tune always comes back either recognizing "tune" as "two" in the output command list, or it simply states 'unrecognized command Radio Tune ###.### (with the #'s being the numbers I dictated)

 

To try to rectify the misunderstood "tune/two," I tried to change the command in VA to 'Radio Tune;Frequency [0..3] [0..9] [0..9] decimal [0..9] [0; 2 5; 5 0; 7 5;]' thinking that would allow me to say ie "Radio Frequency 121.50" instead of "Radio Tune 121.50" but I still get an unrecognized "radio frequency" message. If I try to speak the "radio tune ###.## command I now get an output of 'AIRIO Radio Tune 000.000' and an in DCS message saying radio out of range.

 

I'm at a lose with this one, especially because everything else in VAICOM that I have tried works pretty well.

 

 

I am having the exact same issue and no matter what I do in the windows speech dictionary, for the word "tune" it is no help. I cannot see how to train the airio commands as you can the foundation commands in the app...

any help is appreciated.

Is the map marker to steerpoint function working for you guys in Multiplayer? It works perfect for me in singelplayer, but I cant get it to work in multiplayer? Is it because it often is so many random markers on the map when playing MP?

 

Also how can I Edit profile for the AIRIO Stuff. like tune radio and steerpoint to map marker, I want to say other frases for those? Also Is there a way to train those words somehow? Also I want to change the one and nine when Im sying it fort example. Cause they gets mixed up like 50% of the time.

Is there a definitive approach to resolving what appears to be the very common issue of VA/VP not recognizing DCS or sending ny of the original VP commands to it? By not recognizing I mean that no aircraft shows up in the PTT page on the VP console. And the problem is that, although it can recognize voice commands in the debug list on VA it only actions the very few custom ones I have added myself (like to bring up the kneepad). I've read the other threads from people and have checked my custom path to DCS but no joy. I'm not running any mods other than a few custom skins and cockpits.

 

 

I have to say that I am not a VP fan. I've had it a couple of years and it has hardly ever done what it should do despite hours of training and RTFM from front to back several times. I'm hoarse from training it to stop recognizing "Kolkhi" as donkey, car key, kohlrbi and fifty other unfeasible words other than the one in the bloody file.

Bought all three of your modules (including chatter and AIRIO).

It somehow works, I can speak, and my commands are recognized.

Problem: Not even one single module is recognized by the PTT page of the plugin, it never shows up the module name I am flying (mostly the F-14).

E.g. The F-14 recognizes my command "TACAN x-ray zero four four" by translating it to "tacan x-ray 0 4 4", which is fine, but then it says: AIRIO commands are not available.

All 3 plugins are registered (validated) and listed when I click on LIST on the ABOUT page.

 

Spent 1 hour now, what can I do?

Check out the videos, linked in the OP, but a couple of things that you might want to try first.

 

1. Make sure that you are running VoiceAttack in Admin mode.

2. Delete the export.lua file, probably in C:/users/<your name>/Saved Games/<DCS root folder>/Scripts and then restart VA and DCS.

I also tried that these days in MP and it did not work. The phrase was recognized correctly in VA, but VA said "AIRIO not available" or similar. In cockpit it was as if I hadn´t said anything at all, no message, no beep. Other AIRIO orders worked.

Have you tried the to change the PTT behavior under the Special menu on the f-14. It should be on Default. Mine whas set to another cant remeber what thou, and it didnt work at all then!

Finally I got it work using the registry fix.

 

Holloywood, can you please add a hint regarding the registry fix to the documentation delivered with the content, the PDF? This would have saved me 2 hours of searching for repair. :D

Hello !

I just have a little question. For planes like L-39 & C-101, there is multiple radio but only 1 PTT with a dial to select the current active radio. I also fligh with the A-10C.

 

In VoiceAttack, I let the default config for TX button binding because it works nice with the A-10C.

 

How can I use only 1 PTT (and how to configure in VA ?) for c101 and l39 ? I think the single mode in PTT config tab of Vaicom may work, but I struggle how to configure 1 button. Also, is there a way to choose the TX with changing on the radio dial in the plane ? (For example, to change from INT to VHF or other one ?).

 

Or must I use the little arrow on the vaicom config window ? (I would prefer to use onboard dial).

I may have found my answer :) Just buy Vaicom Pro (very nice tool !!! Thanks !!!) and tried with C-101. Only TX-1 was activated on the PTT page of Vaicom, so 1 button and radio changes within the cockpit :)

 

That's really impressive...

I am having trouble getting a command to work correctly - Command "Chief Remove Wheel Chocks" this is in FA18

 

I have Easy Communications on and Radio to TX1.

 

I can request Startup and that works most of the time.

 

When I ask for: "Chief Remove Wheel Chocks" I end up outside aircraft - every time. It's like it is activating "F2".

 

To get chocks removed I need to turn menu back on and go through menu.

 

Any suggestions on a fix?

@Mangrove Not reproducible here. Also the plugin doesn't send any keystrokes (like F2) at all.

You may want to inspect you're running VA and VAICOM latest versions (2.5.12.2).

Do someone know how you choose the TALD (ADM-141) in the F-14 ? The voice command seems to be missing and since I can't access the RIO wheel with Vaicom Pro running.
