I found a strange situation, in both scenarios (2.5.0 and Open Beta)

The only way to properly operate the ptt, is by first opening the conf. panel (sht ctrl c). I tried it with single ptt and multi, and the same problem occurs.

Once opened I have squelch and correct use, and it is not necessary to keep the configuration panel open, just open once to activate the function and then close.

@Neal Plugin 2.5.3 has been tested to work in conjunction with SSA.

Simtools however is not on the compatibilty list, looks like perhaps this may be causing your issue. PM Sent.

UPDATE: Now fixed in latest build, replace your current plugin dll with the latest one

First I must tell you that I made a clean installation, both Voiceattack and Vaicom Pro.

I found this problem in the TabShiftBar.lua file of the DCS WORLD Open Beta:

When correcting it, I have confirmation of the voice commands.

But in the same way I must first open the configuration window first, in order to use the PTT.

I have noticed some changes. The problems still persist, now I noticed that in some scenarios it works correctly.

Just updated to the latest 2.5.3 but faced a problem: it seems like VIACOM doesn't interact to DCS.

E.g. when I say 'ATC' - 'INBOUND' - VIACOM showes me a command:

TX2 | UHF: [ ATC ],[ ],[ ] Inbound [ ] [ ]

But no reaction from ATC in DCS ..

Could anyone give me a clue: what did I wrong?

I cannot reproduce any difference between config window or closed myself.

Make sure you are using latest plugin build i.e. 180609-03.

 

However regarding Cold and Dark mission I did find there is currently a snag with the FA-18C when starting cold on the ramp

 

With Easy Comms ON: talking to crew in a cold bird does not work properly at this time.

With Easy Comms OFF: before you start talking to the crew switch on the battery first and things will work OK.

 

I'll look into this and come back with a fix.

 

@archer seems you're using the wrong radio, try using VHF instead.

So far, so good!!

DCS Open Beta works, I tried all the modules in all the scenarios.

 

In DCS 2.5 the problem persist. I am trying a few step and I tell you later how it's goes.

 

UPDATE

 

Finally, it works in both scenarios.

 

If it is useful to someone, I list the steps I followed. This is related only to scenario 2.5, since as I explained earlier in OB the last .dll completely solved the problems.

 

1. I deleted the VAICOMPRO folder and the Export.lua file in Savegames

2. I deleted the files RadioCommandDialogsPanel.lua, TabsheetBar.lua and speech.lua in EagleDynamics

3. Run the DCS World Repair

4. Run VA twice, the first time to see the previously deleted files generated, and the second time to confirm the "Lua integrity counter: 5/5" indication in green.

 

I hope it serves someone and thank you very much @Hollywood for your dedication in helping us to continue enjoying such an excellent program. I apologize for writing so many post.

How can I do a clean removal and install of VAICOMPRO I have never been able to use it since I got it I know its me. I really would like to get it working for F-18

Can someone confirm they can get the VA call "Texaco, Inent to Refuel" to work with the latest version of VA pro and DCS 2.5 beta?

 

I have not been able to get "Intent to Refuel" to work while I can get all other calls to work, including "Ready Pre Contact".
