Can't open sound files in ME

The title says it: when I want to add a "sound to all" or "transmit message" task, and I click on "Open" to browse for the sound file nothing happens. Any suggestions please? :(

 

It works in 2.2, but not in 1.5

The problem persists in 2.5 :(

Try deleting the mission editor folder in your saved games directory.

Ok, but don't delete the whole folder .. at least save the logbook.lua file first, as it contains not only your pilots logs, but also your Campaign’s progression status.
