Pilotasso Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 ^^^^but you didnt read his complete sentence...BTW my pots was after some humour. Some Hiperbole was used. :D .
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Hehe...yup, I got that Pilotasso. There is a local car dealership that runs the same promotion every year called "The Summer of Hummers"...cracks me up every time I hear it. :D
Pilotasso Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Also like you pointed out and correctly IK, I dont understand jackshit of cars...and get this, my final UNI project was a car Suspention and I am still pretty much ignorant about cars... :D PLUS, Im a lousy driver... but unlike even louseir drivers I do care for people safety. I think I drive too slow and that pi$$es people off when Im at the road LOL. .
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Hehe...yeah...I remember your sig on the UBI forums. 8 years ago, it would have been especially funny to me, since I had such a crappy car at that time. So the part about, "No car...No problems." would have really cracked me up back then more than it does now. For the last 8 years though, I've had a vehicle that has been so reliable, I can't relate to it quite as much. But...I still have those bad memories of my '91 Chevy Camaro, which I got rid of 2 years after I bought it because it was such a POS. :D
Pilotasso Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 ^^^^I bet you still didnt carry (push) your car more often than the oposite like me. :D Dang chocolate box ROFL .
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Heh...I couldn't. The thing weighed 4500 pounds. :D
Pilotasso Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 http://www.tgdaily.com/2007/02/27/laptop_using_driver/ Tell me again that Hummers are less dangerous! :shocking: .
Guest IguanaKing Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 OK...Hummers are less dangerous. The driver of the Hummer, and any passengers he may have had, survived. Its all about relative mass. If both vehicles had been the Toyota, there would be at least 2 people dead. Besides, it wasn't the Hummer that killed the guy, it was his laptop. If HE had been the one driving the Hummer, and drifted into on-coming traffic because he was using his laptop, he'd still be alive. He'd be going to prison for a few years for vehicular manslaughter, possibly negligent homicide, but he'd be alive.

hitman Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 as for the cars... that's an easy one: everyone should get a yugo :) preferably the stealth model :D No...a Hummer. Not the new H2 and H3 models, but the original model. Not only will it piss off the environmentalists, but you can run over small farm animals without denting the fender...the bigger farm animals you have to avoid a tad bit as they give the paint a slightly reddish tint if not washed off in time. Yes, but the hummer is so dull. When would you ever get a window that doesn't open in a brand new hummer, and when you take off the door panel there is a note "your window is as good as my pay".. only in a yugo :) priceless :) Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
Pilotasso Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Hummers are not dull. Though they are terribly wastefull. You dont need a tank in the city, and very few people would have oportunity use them to the fullest in the countryside. .
G3 Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 all the best Gys, don't know you but if you fly the virtual skies then you are virtually my friend :) or my virtual friend for that matter. looks like you are a well respected member of our community and i bid you a speedy and complete recovery, no one needs these extra life hassles, its generally crazy enough as it is.

You dont need a tank in the city, and very few people would have oportunity use them to the fullest in the countryside. Im willing to bet that it could have saved Gys a trip to the hospital :) And FYI Hummer's are not wasteful. They use up every bit of that gallon of diesel for that 8 miles of driving.
