==Wiggy== Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Sorry, stated a new thread because the other one is incorrectly titled with confusing squadron and group numbers. I finally understood what I was looking at after reading a Spanish subtitled photo (and I don't even speak Spanish...I do speak French as a second language...so close enough to translate without using google...haha). So here they are. Incoming today. Will upload as soon as I get a few more screenshots for the upload. These ones DO NOT use the BORT system. As they use V-Stab number locations that differ from the default areas...not sure if that can be changed or not, but I don't have time to mess with that right now. So they are both stand alone unit numbers per the real life counterparts. Thanks, Clean and Weathered Versions: Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut
==Wiggy== Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 A few more of the weathered 91st. This is also indicative of the 92nd version as well. Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut
==Wiggy== Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 Ok found 2 small item upon inspection just prior to upload. I've added them and will upload after work tomorrow. Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut
Fri13 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Great work. And just makes you scream for wonder why someone would paint their aircrafts with reflective silver when visual spotting was so critical back at the time? i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
Reflected Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 I think the weathered version is really spot on! One question though: why is the middle of the wings white? I've seen this on your other skins as well. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
==Wiggy== Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 (edited) @Reflected: Thank you sir! With regards to the question; it's just something I've seen in some images. I thought it looked aesthetically pleasing. I'm not sure the significance as to why it would be painted and why some would have it and others not. I would say that it is not the norm, but it's not unlikely that some did have this. So I opted to go with something a little different than the usual. ==Wiggy== Posted March 6, 2018 Author Posted March 6, 2018 No prob. @Fri13: thank you. You address an issue that I consider a real source of Symantecs confusion especially coming from the P3D/FSX community, it's the same thing over there. Shiny vs Reflective and Clean Aluminum vs Polished/Chromed or silver or painted finish. I'm going to do a paint for the Sabre, very quickly that shows the difference between all these, including glossy paint and matted paint. An all in one! I think it will help see the difference. DonJosh Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 great, looking for the download-link :) hope ED release it soon. rick, did you plan to do skins for other planes, too like the MiG-15? Or do you stay on the sabre for this moment.

==Wiggy== Posted March 9, 2018 Author Posted March 9, 2018 Anyone know why these would not be approved yet? They still show non active in my files section. I uploaded a few days ago! Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut
Art-J Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Approval takes an undefined number of days, sometimes more, sometimes less... You'd probably be better off with uploading them to mediafire and posting links here as a temporary solution. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
==Wiggy== Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 Ok, they are now available. Just search my username 000rick000, or from the main user files page just click the FILTER button without any selections and it will for some reason bring up the Liveries in the list. For some reason they are not showing up in the last of new additions, but they are active and available now! Cheers, Rick CSEL\CMEL\IFR Certified Airplane Nut

crousti Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 F-86A_USAF_92nd_FBS_FU-209 MAJ. JACK B OWENS x2 Pack Many thanks for awsome skins !:) i encounter problem whith the file in title, no archive found trying to open ? the others works well - THanks again:thumbup:
Art-J Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 ^ Had the same issue, that's because Rick packed one of the skins as a .rar archive, which requires a new version of WinRAR to extract. I Indeed forgot to bring this to attention. Rick, could You please pack your skins to .zips, as you used to do previously? Most people nowadays use 7zip as a universal free packing tool (or, like me, TotalCommander, which has zip support built in). It's a bit uncool to offer a format, which requires people to litter their systems with one more unnecessary application (WinRAR), which needs to be installed just for extracting only this one format. Windows itself has enough unwanted junk in it already, no need to bloat it even more :D. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
