All kinds of Harrier´s weapons on any pylon impossible?

Wonder why it´s impossible to alter the Harrier´s weapons on the pylons such as sidewinders or AGM-122 on every pylon by editing the AV8BNA.lua.

If I change any weapon entry in the pylons line in any way the Harrier disappears from the selection menu in the game.

Don´t know! With the M-2000C Mirage it works!

Any idea how to put Sidewinders AGM-122 or Mavs on every pylon?

I successfully added the Matra rocket pods to the Harrier (going for the GR7 look), but they wouldnt fire.

It's a software interface thing that probably doesnt recognize those weapon ID codes.

I was having this conversation with someone a while ago

We wondered if, because the AGM 122 is 'basically' a Sidewinder, if it cant go on the inner pylons because it would get thermal returns from the front nozzles and be impossible to use?

Although IR Mavs can go on the inner pylons, so I wonder if anyone has more info on this?

I´ll try it out with the IR Mavs.

In my experience, every editing of the AV8BNA.lua makes the Harrier disappear from the selection menu in the game.

Yeh, Tried to add some BL755s and not worked.

IT's not a bug I think but by design.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Modifying the loadout options in the lua should at least result in a corresponding visual model in-game, even if the weapons might not be usable from the cockpit.

So if the module diappears completely from the aircraft drop-down menu, it sounds to me as if you made an error. If a syntax error prevents DCS to actually read and apply the lua file, it might just not show up there.

So, my suggstion here: check your changes and check the DCS.log for scripting errors.
