DaveRindner Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Would be nice to have a global COLOR SATURATION slider. The colors, often in DCS, are unrealistically vibrant. I suppose it is a taste issue. I would set that slider at 75%.
razo+r Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 This can be affected by the monitor settings. Maybe you could check it, if there is any oversaturation set there? But yes, I agree. Something to change the saturation like in ReShade would be nice to have.

I would set that slider at 75%. They are oversaturated because most probably you are running DCS with deferred shading on... With the 2.5 release version I have tested again with and without, and for me is clear, deferred shading of!. A lot of the cockpits are unusable at dusk / night. The Maverick display in the Harrier for example, is so dark that you can't see anything. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202460 Mainboard: ASUS Maximus X Hero Intel Z 370 CPU: Intel 12-Core i7-8086K @ 4.0 GHz Memory: 32GB Corsair DDR4-3000 MHz Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Monitor ASUS - Oled PG42UQ 41.5" @ 4K 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 256 GB 1 SSD Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 4 TB Windows 11 Home - 64 CH Products Combatstick, Throttle and Pedals
Ala13_ManOWar Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Calibrated screen anyone? I see colours pretty good, not only good, much closer to the real deal than anything else I've known. Still always there's room for improvement, but… S! "I went into the British Army believing that if you want peace you must prepare for war. The problem is the Deferred Shading. Mustang Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 +1 with proper screen calibration, there are good websites around that can help with this.
Bogey Jammer Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 98% Adobe RGB Actually this might be a problem. The Adobe RBG colorspace is too specific for some applications. sRGB is the standard so you may have oversaturated colors. The monitor can show 98% of Adobe RGB, but of course is set to SRGB. As an advertising photographer for more than 30 years, I know what I am talking about. I insist, the problem lies with the damm Deferred Shading, and the oversaturation is the least of the problems, being the most important one, the cockpits far too dark, especially at dusk / night. And yes, I know what gamma is.. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202460 Mainboard: ASUS Maximus X Hero Intel Z 370 CPU: Intel 12-Core i7-8086K @ 4.0 GHz Memory: 32GB Corsair DDR4-3000 MHz Graphics Card: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Monitor ASUS - Oled PG42UQ 41.5" @ 4K 1 SSD Samsung 860 PRO 256 GB 1 SSD Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 4 TB Windows 11 Home - 64 CH Products Combatstick, Throttle and Pedals

ac5 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 You sound very frustrated there chief. Very frustrated from that Deferred shading, yes indeed! It just kills the cockpits, especially at dusk / dawn / night, the place where every serious DCS "player" should spend most of the time...
