Usually the range of the argument will be between 0 and 1 or -1 and 1 in increments of 0.5, depending on the type (switch, knob, etc). You can find that info in one of the lua files under Cockpit folder (clickable something, can’t remember now); but getting to what argument works for which switch position - that is something you normally learn wih trials and errors :)

Any update on this? I'm trying to figure out how to trigger an action when the IR cool switch is flipped in the AV8 cockpit. I understand the premise, but how do I know what range to set for this 2 position switch?
