Razbam (as on the first screenshots if You zoom in). It was promising few months ago, now is close to release, perhaps with Hornet’s update (end of May?).

 

Btw. FR version has wings tanks also with baskets: .

I never tested it online, but is possible to use both "boobs" ;> in the same time with two aircrafts (for example with KC-130) ?

In SP only left basket works.

Yes you can refuel on both baskets in MP - but first, you need to get the left basket out.

By the way, deploying only one basket seems unrealistic.

On the pictures, we always see rangers with 2 wing pods deploying both at the same time.

Maybe to avoid asymmetrical drag ?

They also want the 2nd one ready in case the first failed. In the fighterpilotpodcast the FA-18 Pilot said they always test the first tanker to have a min of one airborne pod working before they shoot planes for a mission. I guess they have a higher rate of failure compared to other parts.

In my free time (not many in this week) I'm still working for new livery for KC-130FR. I released them already but the v2 version is being prepared with the Speculars files for PBR (RoughMet). The default KC-130 doesnt have it and it looks for me too matt (compared to the rest from DCS).

The new version will be compatible with the other paints, plus scratches and dirts, so a light reflection effect will appear on every painting, including the US (this is the RoughMet advantage). Here is an example for comparing the coating (painting the same):

 

 

FYI. this repaint (although based on real French C-130 after renovation) is fictitious because France doesnt have KC-130 tankers.

 

Soon for download on DCS website (little shiny effect will be optional).

This particular problem has been driving me nuts with the Harrier. I'm crossing everything on my body possible (and a few things that aren't) in the hopes that this will be fixed in the (hopeful) patch update on Friday.
