Knob mouse rotation speed.

I'd noticed that knob dialling with the mouse requires - at least for me - large movements of the mouse, which I found tolerable, but perhaps a little unnecessary, as when doing this with ED's new module (F-18) it is for me; far more pleasant, perhaps this is dictated by input resolution so difficult to get right.

 

If this is not just my own experience; I'd love for the knobs to rotate at a slightly faster rate with mouse-dragging.

I would also like for the altimeter pressure knob to work with the mouse as well. Currently it only works with the scroll wheel, and takes forever when flying on NTTR.

But:

1 klick, like in RL, I think it's an "endless" knob, like the mouse wheel = 1°.

But an acceleration could be implemented. If u rotate fast, it makes bigger steps. Like scrolling in common browsers.

I found out by accident that, if you maintain left-shift pressed while rolling the mouse wheel over a rotary in the cockpit, the rotation is much faster !

I can confirm; life would be better if CW and CCW encoder functions were mapped on the keyboard.
